Autapomorphies of Neochoroterpes.

(1) Regular transverse rows of setae on labrum [see Atalophlebopectinata (2)] are lost: instead of distal row it has a wide field of irregularly situated setae, instead of proximal row it has a larger field of irregularly situated longer setae (Henry 1993: Figs 1–4).

Size. Fore wing length 5–8 mm.

Distribution. Nearctic.
