Autapomorphies of Traverella/g1. (1) Each tergalius I–VI has both lamellae [see Leptophlebia/fg1 (10)] wide, roundish-triangular narrowing apically, with numerous long slender processes on entire margin; tergalius VII either has similar structure but diminished, or is absent (Allen 1973: Fig.19–22). Similar tergalial structure is found in some other non-related taxa (see Index of characters [1.3.23]). Characters of Traverella/g1 of unclear phylogenetic status. (2) Larval claw has prominent inner margin with several denticles, among which the distalmost is not larger than others [unlike related taxa – see Hermanellonota (3)]. |
