Autapomorphy of Epeiron/g2.

(1) Penis [without titillators see Epeiron/g1 (3)] without dorso-lateral spines (unlike Rhithrogena/fg4, Himalogena and part of Sibirigena); penis lobes have simple shape, fused proximally and divergent distally, with gonopores at a distance from tips (Thomas & Dia 1982: Fig.37).

Size. Fore wing length 510 mm.

Distribution. Asia: from Asia Minor to Indo-China.
