Characters of Pseudocentroptilum of unclear phylogenetic status. (1) Cerci and paracercus without long bare last segments (Kluge & Novikova 1992: Fig.7:11) (the same in many Procloeon/g1; possibly, synapomorphy). Plesiomorphies of Pseudocentroptilum. Unlike Procloeon/g1, larval cerci without enlarged spines on outer side (Kluge & Novikova 1992: Fig.7:10-11). Unlike Cloeon/fg2, larval tergalii are not widened, dorsal lamella of moderate size, without anterior-proximal lobe (Kluge & Novikova 1992: Fig.7:1-9); eggs with stout chorion. Hind wings [of "Centroptilum-type" – see Cloeon/fg1 ()] are present (see Index of characters [2.2.60]) (Kluge & Novikova 1992: Fig.7:16-17). |
