COMMENT. The name Antennata possibly is an oldest circumscriptional synonym of Atelocerata. But the name Antennata is used in literature in other meanings also, and its true authorship not clarified. For the taxon uniting Myriapoda and Hexapoda the name Atelocerata should be used, as it is surely fitting in circumscription and was always used in this meaning only. |
