Autapomorphy of Siniron. (1) Abdominal terga with paired submedian spines on posterior margins (the same in some other taxa, but not in other Ironopsis/g2). Plesiomorphy of Siniron. Penis has a pair of median titillators [see Pentamerotarsata (5)] (unlike Ironopsis/g2, Epeorus/fg4 and some others). |
