Autapomorphy of Epeiron/g2. (1) Penis [without titillators – see Epeiron/g1 (3)] without dorso-lateral spines (unlike Rhithrogena/fg4, Himalogena and part of Sibirigena); penis lobes have simple shape, fused proximally and divergent distally, with gonopores at a distance from tips (Thomas & Dia 1982: Fig.3–7). |
Size. Fore wing length 5–10 mm.
Distribution. Asia: from Asia Minor to Indo-China.
