COMMENT. Some authors wrongly regard the name Corrodentia (sensu Handlirsch 1903) to be a senior synonym of Copeognatha. Actually the name Corrodentia Burmeister 1839 belongs to a polyphyletic taxon which unites Copeognatha + Isoptera + Embioptera + Coniopteryx/fg1. |
