COMMENT. The name Rhabdura initially was given to a taxon which included Campodeidae, but did not include Iapygidae; no one of representatives of Prodicellura was described at that time. After that, different authors differently
concretized meaning of the name Rhabdura: The name Rhabdura s.str. (sensu Cook 1899 [New Dicellura. – Proc. Entomol. Soc. Washington, 4: 222-229]) belongs to a taxon, which does not include Projapyx – i.e. Prodicellura; this taxon is holophyletic (Kluge 2000). The name Rhabdura s.l. (sensu Börner 1904) belongs to a taxon, which unites Rhabdura s.str. and Prodicellura;  holophyly of this taxon is questionable.
