COMMENT.  The older name Protereismephemeridae, being non-typified, by its form resembles typified names, such as Protereismatidae (i.e. Protereisma/f) and Ephemeridae (i.e. Ephemera/f). Because of this, its junior circumscriptional synonym Permoplectoptera is preferable.
