oldest name of a widely accepted, holophyletic taxon.
COMMENT. The name Antarctoplecoptera in circumscription corresponds to «Antarctoperlaria» sensu Zwick 1973. The name «Antarctoperlaria» is a typified name based on Antarctoperla/f; in application to this taxon this name was used contrary to the principle of priority: originally the family Gripopterygidae was divided into subfamilies Gripopteryginae and Antarctoperlinae (Enderlein 1909), so Gripopteryx/f [f:1909] has priority upon Antarctoperla/f [f:1909].
