Autapomorphy of Belovius/g1.

(1) On tergalii IIVII [see Epeorus/fg3 (2)] anal rib [which initially is situated on anal margin see Branchitergaliae (3)] is situated at a distance from anal margin (Kluge 2004: Fig.65:DE). Non-unique apomorphy.

Plesiomorphies of Belovius/g1. Unlike Iron/fg1, tergalius I [see Epeorus/fg2 (1)] is widened not so strongly, and tergalius VII has no longitudinal fold, only with smooth longitudinal concavity, which is not enough to allow tergalius to turn under abdomen (Kluge 2004: Fig.65:A).

Variable characters of Belovius/g1. Titillators are either well-developed, or vestigial, or lost.

Size. Fore wing length 1015 mm.

Distribution. Amphipacific: Eastern Palaearctic, Oriental Region and Western Nearctic.
