Plesiomorphies of Balticobaetisca (unlike Baetisca/f3=g2). At least in imago abdominal tergum VI [enlarged – see Posteritorna (5)] has no transverse elevation. In female imago abdominal sternum IX has even posterior margin (Staniczek & Bechly 2002: Fig.10). 

Size. Fore wing length 10 mm.

Age. Palaeogene (Baltic amber).
