Autapomorphies of Hermanella/g3.

(1) Each tergalius I–VII has both lamellae 3-pointed [see Leptophlebia/fg1 (10)]; each lamella (at least of anterior tergalii) has a characteristic shape: terminal process is slender, and two sides projections are wide, pointed and closely adjacent to the terminal process that makes allusion that the lamella is integral and lanceolate (Domingues & Flowers 1989: Fig.49,60).

Size. Fore wing length 7–13 mm.

Distribution. Neotropical Region.
