() Larval femur with a transverse row of setae on anterior surface: middle and hind femora always have such row on proximal third; fore femur either also has such row on proximal third, or has a row more distally, or lacks this row (in singuil [Varipes]). Transverse rows of setae on femora are found in some other mayflies, but not in Turbanoculata.
