Characters of Labiobaetis/f1=Pseudopannota/g1 of unclear phylogenetic status.

(1) In male imago sterno-styligeral muscle [see Liberevenata (4)] is completely lost (Kluge & Novikova 2016: Fig.1–3, 55, 81, 131). The same in some other taxa (see Index of characters [2.3.7]).

(2) In mature larva ready to moult to subimago, subimaginal gonostyli developing under larval cuticle, are folded under larval cuticle by the «Labiobaetis-type» [see Turbanoculata (13) and Baetovectata (3)]: 2nd and 3rd segments of gonostylus are directed medially and somewhat arched by convexity posteriorly, thus margin of 2nd segment represents the posteriormost part of the bud (Kluge & Novikova 2016: Fig.54, 80, 97, 130). The same in some other other taxa (see Index of characters [2.3.9]).

(3) In male imaginal gonostyli, 2nd segment has no significant widenings, 3rd (terminal) segment is short and not much narrower than 2nd segment (Kluge & Novikova 2016: Fig.1–3, 55, 81, 131)

(4) In larval labium, paraglossae are more or less strengthened and widened (Kluge & Novikova 2016: Fig.126). The same in some other taxa.

Size. Fore wing length 2–6 mm (see Tetramerotarsata).

Distribution. Holarctic, Afrotropical, Oriental and Australian Regions).
