Autapomorphy of Centroptella/g2.

(1) In last larval instar, developing subimaginal gonostyli are folded under larval cuticle in the peculiar «Crassolus-type» pose, with 3rd segments bent medially-proximally (Kluge & al. 2020: Fig.79, 148) (see Index of characters [2.3.9]).

Size. Fore wing length 3.5–6.5 mm (see Tetramerotarsata).

Distribution. Oriental and Afrotropical Regions.
